SMART 685ix Whiteboard

The Smart Board 685ix combines an ultra-short-throw projector with a widescreen interactive whiteboard.

Short and Ultra-short-throw projectors help to minimise shadows, glare and the projector light. The projector, UX60, allows the projector to be only 12 inches away from the board to fill the board with the projection image.

The board is a widescreen board 87 inches wide, with an aspect ratio of 16:10 and native resolution of 1280 x 800. It provides 20% more working space than a standard Smart interactive whiteboard.

The entire system can be powered up from a single button, and will be up and running within ten seconds. Impressive!

Two computers can be connected to the dual-USB port which allows you to connect two computers, and seamlessly switch between them. Also, connect many audiovisual devices and control them all from a centralised control panel. This allows you to switch between DVD players, digital cameras, VCR’s, document camera etc.

With the optional speakers added to the system, the whole unit becomes a multimedia centre perfect for media classrooms / boardrooms.

Specifications for the projector lamp boast of an impressive 3000 hours, or 4000 hours in economy mode. Compared to the standard 2000 hours of a lamp, this is astonishing.
